থাই আনার (Thai Pomegranate) বাংলাদেশে ডালিম বা বেদানার অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় একটি উচ্চ ফলনশীল জাত। এর বীজ খুব নরম হওয়ায় খাওয়ার সময় মুখে পড়ে না এবং স্বাদ অত্যন্ত মিষ্টি হয়।
থাই আনারের প্রধান বৈশিষ্ট্য
বীজ ও শাঁস: ভেতরের অংশ রক্তবর্ণ লাল এবং বীজ খুবই নরম ও রসালো।
ওজন: প্রতিটি ফলের ওজন সাধারণত ৪০০ থেকে ৬০০ গ্রাম পর্যন্ত হয়ে থাকে।
ফলন: এটি উচ্চ ফলনশীল জাত এবং দেশীয় আবহাওয়ায় সারা বছরই কম-বেশি ফল দিয়ে থাকে।
চাষ পদ্ধতি: টব, ছাদবাগান বা বাড়ির আঙিনায় এই গাছের চাষ করা যায়। এর রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা বেশি হওয়ায় অল্প যত্নেই ভালো ফলন পাওয়া যায়।
